Recent Research and Activities
Dr. Robboy is in the process of writing a book entitled: The Foxes and the Hen House: College officials and the Exploitation of their Students. About this project he says: "For the last five years or so I have been applying the sociological perspective to analyzing the mechanisms employed by many college officials to intentionally hide and minimize campus crimes to protect the public image of their institutions at the expense of the safety of their students and the justice normally granted to victims of crimes. Most of these cover-ups involve date and acquaintance rapes which constitute 90% of the sexual assaults on college campuses."
Dr. Robboy is working on revisions for the 5th edition of Social Interaction. He is also in the process of writing a book entitled The Clery Act and the Quest for Campus Safety.
