Keith Brown, Ph.D. "Fair Trade and the Social Dynamics of Moral Boundaries"

Dr. Brown is a TCNJ sociology alumnus who recently completed his doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania. He will speak about his research on Fair Trade and will follow this (at 7 pm) with a question and answer session over pizza (provided) about pursuing a doctoral program in sociology.

Junot Diaz

New Jersey's own Pulitzer Prize-winning author will discuss his fictional works that portray life in Dominican immigrant families in the Garden State. In The Brief Wonderous Life of Oscar Wao, Diaz addresses issues of identity, migration, violence, and life transitions.
