Concerned Citizens is looking for unpaid interns for any semester. Interns will engage in direct social service by working with low to moderate income families. Interns will also work with the community in general, as well as other community agencies. Concerned Citizens is an outreach program that helps low income families. Concerned Citizens provides assistance with food stamps. They also set up food drives, home-work clinics, and outreach programs for individuals in the community. They produce monthly statistical reports which help the other social agencies that they work along side with. Interns are required to have good listening, computer, and writing skills. They should be able to remain objective and have the ability to respect all of the clients. If you are interested, contact Herman I. Kimbrough at (609) 882-0856.
